INGREDIENTS

• 150 Gr sweet potato, cooked, boiled, without skin [sweetpotato]

• 50 Gr wheat flour, white, all-purpose, self-rising, enriched

• 2 Gr crystal of the sea carrot powder

• 30 Gr cheese, cheddar

• 50 Gr milk, whole, 3.25% milkfat

• 10 Gr palm sugar

• 5 Gr vegetable oil, coconut

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Steam the sweet potato until soft, then mash it. Ensure the sweet potato has cooled before mixing with other ingredients.
  2. In a bowl, combine the mashed sweet potato, flour, Carrot Powder, grated cheese, milk, and palm sugar (if using). Mix until well combined.
  3. Grease a small baking dish with coconut oil, then pour the batter into it. Smooth the surface of the batter.
  4. Heat the steamer and steam the batter for 25–30 minutes until fully cooked. Test the doneness by inserting a toothpick; if it comes out clean, the cake is ready.
  5. Let the cake cool for a few minutes, then cut into pieces as desired and serve.
